Phytoseptic® Natural Anti-fungal Skin Cream
Anti-Itch, Anti-Inflammatory & Soothing, with Antiseptic properties
Phytoseptic has broad spectrum anti-bacterial activity making it superior to comparative products. Tests demonstrate a 99.9% kill factor in 30 minutes against gram negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and gram positve bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus).* Benefits: Prevents secondary infections occuring from opportunistic bacteria.
Phytoseptic is meticulously formulated using a blend of elite botanicals, including Golden Seal and Lemon Scented Tea Tree Oil, providing a natural approach to typical anti-fungal skin treatment with the added benefits of anti-bacterial and antiinflammatory efficacy. Scientifically proven to provide a significantly broader spectrum of biocidal activity than comparative commercial products. Most commercial anti-fungal products are inhibitory only, hence there is a persistence of complaints associated with common fungal infections necessitating repeated use.
Botani Australia Pty Ltd commissioned independent in-vitro laboratory tests supervised by Silliker Microtech Pty Ltd to undertake a comparative evaluation of some typical anti-fungal creams on the market : Canesten, Tinoderm, Daktarin. The objective was to establish the relative in-vitro biocidal efficacy of Botani's PHYTOSEPTIC ANTIFUNGAL SKIN CREAM against other leading products. The products were tested in a suspension test for the quantitative determination of a kill factor.
The organisms of choice were:
- Trichophyton mentographytes
- Epidermophyton floccosum
- Trichophyton rubrum (Athlete's foot)
- Microsporum canis
- Candida albicans
ANTI-BACTERIAL TESTS WERE PERFORMED ON THE SAME PRODUCTS LISTED ABOVE AGAINST Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa to determine anti-bacterial efficacy of the active products.
