Foot Care Tips To Keep Your Feet Happy

Our feet deserve a gold medal! Feet are tough, hard-working, and operate as the constant point of connection between us and the world. Going for a run later? Spare a thought for the pressure put onto your feet with every stride. With all the support that feet provide us, it is important to treat them with a little love and respect. Proper foot care should not be neglected. Problems with the feet can reflect or lead to problems in other parts of the body. Feet are naturally dry, and are prone to problems like cracked heels, dry flaky skin, peeling skin – especially during winter. As feet lack the natural oil glands that the rest of our skin has, sweat is needed to provide moisture to our feet. This is harder for the skin to regulate, and if you’re strutting your stuff in a pair of poorly ventilated sneakers or office shoes then you’re facing another range of feet problems. These include: athlete’s foot, fungal infection, and bad odour!

While your feet are still wet, place a small amount of granules in the palm of your hand and proceed to massage in circular motions on the soles for at least 2 minutes. Rinse granules away with warm water.
