Simple Skin Detox Tips That Will Keep Your Skin Glowing

Keeping that “just returned from my summer holiday” healthy glow is no easy feat…I’d be lying if I said I didn’t struggle with it. So what’s my trick to keep my skin glowing without spending my whole summer in the bathroom? A simple skin detox!

Now a good skin detox doesn’t have to involve some fancy four day retreat or mean splashing your entire paycheck on mysterious vitamins and minerals, in fact getting glowing skin it’s as simple as taking on 4 simple skin detox tips:

1. Keep it fresh with healthy eating

This doesn’t have to be anything too particular or special, you just need to cut back on processed food and drinks and enjoy more fresh, wholesome produce.

My tip to get motivated?

Head down to your local farmers market this weekend and buy direct from the person who picked the produce the day before (it’s inspiring to know where your food comes from)

2. Don’t skimp on H2O

This is one of the easiest and really the most effective ways to detox your system. Water is vital to keep yourself hydrated and to flush out any nasties, making it a superstar for keeping your skin glowing.

My tip to get motivated?

Mark out 4 equal segments (500ml) on a 2L water bottle then label the marks with a time deadline (e.g. 500ml by 10am). Use this water bottle to guide your drinking throughout the day and see how easy it is to get your 2L in!

3. Add that little bit extra
